is a proposal that enables collectors to acquire pieces of art in an ethical and collaborative way.
In this day and age, it’s interesting to analyze whether an artist can legitimately combine gallery representation with digital activity. That’s why, for one year, a selection of Antoine Cordet’s paintings will be available for sale on our platform.
Collectors are invited to contact us via the « request price » tab, to ask for any information they may require. If all goes according to plan, the piece(s) will be sent to them wherever they may be in the world via a specialized art courier.
__________
Antoine Cordet (b. 1983) is a French painter. He received a prize from the Académie des Beaux-Arts, Paris (FR) in 2014 and has held numerous solo exhibitions. His figurative work most often evokes portraits of lost characters prey to questioning. These beings, rendered almost ghostly by the strange pictorial treatment, are depicted in a neutral setting, sometimes bathed in light, sometimes dark, adding to their attitude a sense of apathy that makes them inadequate to the complexity of this world.
Cordet lives and works in Paris. He modestly bears witness to one of the facets of our times, using the means that are most natural to him, to leave a trace of our turn of the century.
